Antigua

High Road sent me to the Antigua to finish up a training job that I did about a month ago.  The grand opening of the Olive Branch.

What makes a job like this so rewarding is that High Road and the Olive Branch share the same vision.  My idea of quality may be different than someone else’s, but when everyone agrees on one common goal it makes my job that much easier.  I have trained a lot of Baristas who act like they want your help but really just want to know how to get by.  High Road is about the long term goals and making training an investment in your businesses future.

I own my own coffee shop and have learned through out the years that there is no room to cut corners and still succeed.   I want to be unique and do things differently than the guy down the street.  Setting yourself apart is very important, whether it be in your product choice, equipment choice, or training.  I will do my business the same and I will continue to believe in the fact that people will eventually chose quality over convenience.
